Round One: Socket to It
So, we've successfully completed the first stage of the Project. What we've accomplished thus far:
- Built the robot(3 rebuilds in order to get the gearing ratio right)
- Give us a break, we're in electrical and computer engineering, besides it just about climbs walls now
- The VEXPro has been programmed for movement and interrupts
- Motors function properly and the speeds of the motors had to be offest in order for the robot to move straight.
- Robot can move forward, backward, right, left, and come to a stop.
- Bump sensors have been added into the interrupt programming for collision detection.
- Android App has been programmed and sends commands to the VEXPro

Getting Started...
This blog is meant to document the progress in design and development of a robot that is capable of navigating a specified path autonomously.
The team, The Fighting Mongooses, is comprised of four members, Dan, Charlie, Mark, and Sam. Each of the team members brings a unique set of skills that should prove extremely useful in completing this project.
